Special symbols
These are combinations of dots and dashes with special meanings. They are used as two letters of Morse code concatenated into one, thus eliminating the intermediate time required to normally send them as two letters.

K:—·—(invitation to transmit signal) (generally followed by AR, meaning "it's your turn")
