The unlimited current protection function only has short circuit protection.
When power is applied for the first time, Q1 is turned on, and C1 has no time to charge. Q2 is not turned on, and the subsequent stage supplies power normally with load.
When the output of the subsequent stage is short-circuited, C1 charges Q2 and turns on, then Q1 is cut off, and the subsequent stage is powered off.
Because the downstream load is 10k, after short-circuit protection occurs, the circuit cannot be reset by removing the abnormal load. The input must be cut off and powered on again to reset.
