The RDK01DB1563 development kit includes the TEA2016DB1514 USB-I 2 C interface board, cables and quick start guide. This development kit was originally developed to support TEA2016 application design development, but can be used in the same way for several other NXP products, such as TEA2017 and TEA6017.
The TEA2016DB1514 USB-I 2 C interface board is a development tool that allows programming of IC settings from a computer. A supported graphical user interface (GUI) can be installed on the computer and used within the Ringo development software provided by NXP. Interfaces and software are included as part of power supply development, allowing design work to be performed in a laboratory environment. It is not suitable for industrial use.
TEA2016 is a digitally configurable LLC and PFC combination controller for high-efficiency resonant power supplies. It includes LLC and PFC controller functions. TEA2016AAT is available in a small narrow SO16 package. During power supply development, various operating and protection settings for LLC and PFC controllers can be adjusted to meet specific application requirements by loading new settings into the device.
