FRDMGD3160HB8EVM is a half-bridge evaluation kit with two built-in GD3160 single-channel IGBT/SiC MOSFET gate driver devices. The kit contains the Freedom KL25Z MCU hardware, connected to a PC with FlexGUI software installed, and can be daisy chained or configured independently to communicate with the SPI registers on the GD3160 gate driver.
The KITGD316xTREVB conversion board is used to convert the 3.3 V signal between the MCU and the GD3160 gate driver to a 5.0 V signal.
