GD3100 Half-Bridge Evaluation Kit

Overview

The FRDMGD31ECNEVM is a half-bridge evaluation kit installed with two MC33GD3100 single-channel IGBT gate driver devices. The kit contains the Freedom KL25Z microcontroller hardware for connection to a PC with SPIGen software installed, which can be daisy-chained or configured independently to communicate with the SPI registers on the MC33GD3100 gate driver.

The GD3100 conversion board is used to convert the 3.3 V signal between the MCU and the MC33GD3100 gate driver into a 5.0 V signal. The evaluation kit can be connected to Ecno Dual IGBT or SiC MOSFET modules for half-bridge evaluation and application development.
