This EVB supports NXP MPC56xxS microprocessors for automotive instrument clusters. It contains an XPC56XXMPB2 motherboard and an XPC560SADPT micro module that plugs into the motherboard. There are also different micro-modules available for you to choose from to evaluate devices of different specifications in the MPC56xxS series of microprocessors. The evaluation system provides the user with full access to the CPU, including all of the CPU's I/O signals and motherboard peripherals. The micro module can be used as a stand-alone unit, allowing access to the CPU but not to I/O pins or any motherboard peripherals.
