The author used a daisy-chained stack of electronic shelf labels (ESLs) to decorate an office wall.
They are linked together via UART so that the TX line of one node is connected to the RX line of the next node. The first node is special because it can connect via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The device uses Telink TLSR8359 SoC and supports BLE.
