LED navigation light WS2812

1. Function description

• The taillight is equipped with 78L05 onboard, which can step down the 3S battery voltage to 5V to power the flight control and receiver;
• The WS2812 light can be connected to the flight controller through a signal line, and the colors of different modes can be customized at the ground station;
• RGB arm lights can achieve different color displays (red, green and blue) by short-circuiting different pads;

2.Welding instructions

For the flight controller with Betaflight firmware programmed, you can make the following settings in the Betaflight Configurator software

For RGB arm lights, you can choose to weld two 100 ohm resistors according to the color, and short-circuit different pads.

The recommended colors are: green lights for the two arms at the head of the quadcopter, and red lights for the two arms at the tail (indicating danger at the tail, red is more penetrating, and is also in line with the common sense that car taillights are red in life)
