I saw the dot matrix screen sold by Lao Wang's family, it cost two yuan a pound (10 pieces), which was a good deal, so I bought it for 150 yuan, planning to make a dot matrix screen.
The PCB adopts a splicing design, which can be easily adjusted in size. Even if you make 12864, it is not a problem (pay attention to the silk screen, do not connect out to out)
Glue position (you can apply more, but there is less in the picture, error demonstration)
The joints should be aligned
Since the connection is through hot melt glue to the sides of the dot matrix screen, the structural strength is not high. If the dot matrix is to be larger, it is recommended to customize an acrylic plate for protection.
Short-circuit the connection pad (a piece of tin can be used to solve it, or a 0 ohm resistor can be used if it is more elegant)
When splicing a large screen, please note that some pads SER do not need to be connected.
These three capacitors are not particularly easy to solder. Even if they are not soldered, they are of no use.
The resistor is 330 ohms, which is a bit dark at 3.3V. It is recommended to use 5V voltage or lower the resistance value (the resistor should not be too small, otherwise the color will be uneven)
