Overview

The product is stitched together based on several projects and can be used normally. However, the support for double-ended Type-C data cables does not seem to be very good.

 

The bottom plate should be able to be used alone, but the ovcj5 should be pulled up

 

Fe2.1 is not powered by default when there is no USB signal. Please pay attention when making it.

 

The USBhub chip has poor compatibility with ceramic crystal oscillators. Ceramic crystal oscillators only have USB1.1. Three of my previous boards were overturned because of the use of ceramic crystal oscillators.

 

The buck chip on the top panel seems to be a bit expensive now, and this hub does not require much power. I will replace it with a cheaper one when I have time.

 

When I have time, ch9102 will be replaced with ch343p and I will draw another version. ch343p has higher performance and smaller package.

 

If the card reader chip is directly connected to USB, the old card will not be recognized when the old card is ejected and the new card is inserted. Therefore, a single-button switch is added to the upper board to control the power supply of the upper board. It does not provide power by default when powered on.

In this way, after ejecting the old card, the upper board can be powered off, and then the new card can be inserted.

 

The indicator light on the upper layer board will continue to light up after the USB device is connected. If you want data indication, you should just solder it in reverse.

p.s. It is not recommended for novices to do this. My patch parts are placed relatively tightly, and there are QFN packaged chips, so welding is more difficult. ——August 1, 2022
