Open source smart cooling plate design based on PIC16F17146

Overview

This smart cooling plate (cold plate) can cool its metal surface and any objects on it. The system is controlled by a separate 20-pin, 8-bit MCU PIC16F17146, which can complete the following functions. It can complete so many functions independently, thanks to the MCU Internally integrated core-independent peripherals (CIPs). (1) Current monitoring and measurement (various op amps, comparators, ADCs, DACs and references) (2) Cooling board, heat sink and MCU temperature monitoring. (3) Functional safety (memory CRC check, non-volatile memory NVM control). (4) Protection system monitoring. (5) Fan control with style monitoring.
