Overview

1. Introduction to AD9834 chip
  AD9834 is a 75 MHz, low-power DDS device that can produce high-performance sine wave and triangle wave output. It also integrates a comparator on-chip to support generating square waves for clock generation. When the supply voltage is 3 V, its power consumption is only 20 mW, which is very suitable for applications with strict power consumption requirements.
  The AD9834 provides phase modulation and frequency modulation functions. The frequency register is 28 bits; the clock rate is 75 MHz, allowing a resolution of 0.28 Hz. Likewise, at a clock rate of 1 MHz, the AD9834 can achieve a resolution of 0.004 Hz. Frequency and phase modulation are affected by loading registers via the serial interface and then switching the registers via software or the SELECT/PSELECT pins. The AD9834 writes data through a three-wire serial interface. The serial interface is capable of operating at clock rates up to 40 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller standards.
  The device operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V supplies.
 
2. Project Introduction
  This project uses the AD9834 chip to design a DDS module, which can be used to generate sine waves, triangle waves and square waves within 30 MHz. The sine wave output has a 30 MHz LC low-pass filter, and the sine wave output will have a DC component.
