Introduction:
IP6825 is a wireless charging transmitter control SoC chip, compatible with the latest WPC Qi standard, supports A11 or A11a coils, and supports 5W charging.
IP6825 detects the wireless charging receiver through Analog Ping, and establishes communication with the wireless charging receiver through Digital Ping. After the communication is successful, power transmission begins.
The IP6825 decodes the communication packets sent from the receiver and then uses a PID algorithm to change the oscillation frequency to adjust the output power on the coil. The IP6825 terminates power transfer once the battery on the receiver is fully charged.
IP6825 integrates a full-bridge drive circuit and power MOS on-chip, and integrates a voltage & current two-way ASK communication demodulation module; the solution is highly integrated, which can significantly reduce the solution size and BOM cost.
