Overview

TP5000 is a switching step-down single-cell manganese lithium battery/lithium iron phosphate battery charge management chip with built-in input overcurrent, undervoltage protection, chip overtemperature protection, short circuit protection, battery temperature monitoring, and battery reverse connection protection. TP5000 has a wide input voltage, and the battery charging is divided into three stages: trickle precharge, constant current, and constant voltage. The trickle precharge current and constant current charging current are adjusted through external resistors, and the maximum charging current reaches 2A.
