【E-Sports】Synchronized BOOST module

Overview

Circuit analysis
The synchronous BUCK circuit is shown in the figure below. The relationship between the output voltage Vo, the input voltage Vin, and the duty cycle D of the input PWM is: Vo=Vin×D.
Choose a large capacitor, 1000uF can be used.
The relationship between the inductor L and the PWM frequency (switching frequency) is shown in Equation 1, where Vo is the output voltage, D is the duty cycle, △iL is the inductor current fluctuation, and the selection of the inductor L Need to be greater than the calculated Lmin. The PWM frequency used in this module is 100kHz level, and a 47uH inductor is selected.

The schematic diagram shows that
since the HIN and LIN ports of IR2103 are connected together and only one PWM input port is connected, the output HO and LO port outputs are complementary.
Just connect the PWM port to the IO port of your microcontroller, and the frequency should be 100kHz.
Maximum Vdss of MOS tube: 100V, maximum overcurrent: 33A.
Driver chip IR2103 power supply: 10-20V
