Colorful badge effect display
(1) PCB panel
The badge panel uses a 1mm PCB board, the outer ring of the school badge is printed using a silk screen layer, and the inner ring background of the school badge shows the top layer through the solder mask layer to achieve a metal effect; the inner ring pattern of the school badge on the insulating layer is displayed through the hollowing of each layer; the insulating layer has a certain degree of light transmittance, so it can be used as a panel to display lights.
(2) 3D printed shell
The shell model can be obtained in the attachment. The black nylon material is used in the figure.
(3) WS2812B color light module
Purchase the relevant module on Taobao (module diameter 25mm) and perform simple welding.
(4) Assembly
Install the PCB on the shell, stick the color light module on the sponge tape, and then stick it on the back of the shell.
(5) Control
Since the relevant pins of the color light module are brought out, it can be connected to the required controller for control.
(6) Others
You can also not buy the color light module but solder the WS2812B lamp beads on the back of the PCB board to achieve the above functions. In this case, the 3D printed shell is not suitable. This method is simple, but the display effect is poor.
