TSOP48_TO_BGA64

Overview

I am an amateur network player. I just play with routers. I usually like to modify some routers, so I often deal with programmers. I purchased Xingong’s T48 programmer some time ago. This machine is very good in all aspects, except for the seat. They are all encrypted and not cheap. The price of buying the machine and the seat is as high as 1K. I looked at the BGA63 seat and it costs about 360. In line with the principle of saving what is left, I don’t plan to buy any more. , and choose DIY.
First of all, let me make it clear that I don’t understand any open source protocols. In the spirit of sharing, there is actually no technical content. It is just a simple adapter board. However, I don’t recommend seeing you selling this kind of thing in the seafood market. Use it yourself. Just use it. If you use it frequently, it is recommended to support the genuine programmer socket.
For routers, there are not many chips using BGA63. Friends who often check flash memory datasheets should know that NAND chips actually come in two packages, one is the potentially cheaper TSOP package, and the other is the BGA package. , in fact, many chips have these two forms, it just depends on what the buyer chooses.
Origin of inspiration:
I have played with SSD for a period of time before, so I have come into contact with many test sockets. I have seen the small board of TSOP to BGA, so my imagination is wide open. Since the socket is encrypted, then change the data to be read after the encryption. As for the chip packaging, it is obviously very difficult to add 48 pins to BGA63. Maybe it can be completed by making an FPC adapter board, but the cost is not low, so imitating the adapter board became my choice.
Of course, this socket is not limited to T48. It should be usable on all programmers with the adapter shown in the picture above.
So I just started working and submitted the prototype after a long time of work. I have to admire the speed of Jialichuang. It was really fast. Because it was the first version, the result was still a little different from what I wanted, so I revised it to a more beautiful version. Yes, looking forward to your test.
In fact, the overall cost is not high, 2.54mm*16P pin header x2, 2.54mm*16P female header x2. Then there is the small adapter board purchased at the seafood market. The small quantity is 6 yuan each. The boss kept the small board that was taken back in a very ordinary way and did not protect the pins. It may need some repairs. You can solder the back of the board. Add some low-temperature tin, then press the back against the PTC heating plate to remove the gold-plated needle.
It is recommended to purchase an adapter to fix the pins, that is to say, insert the pins into the adapter one by one, then cover the TSOP48 base plate and solder the pins to fix it. I forgot to take a picture, sorry.
After fixing, you can weld and fix the pin headers and female headers of the upper and lower boards. Pay attention to the order. In V1.1, I have marked the order of 1234, and stack 1234 from bottom to top.
This is a picture of the welding.
Remove a Dongxin BGA63 chip from the router material board, plant the ball, solder it, and test it on the computer.
Of course, it can be easily identified. Since it uses the base of TSOP48, the model identification is smooth, and it is TSOP48. corresponding model.
Read and verify, the average is 5.6M/s, and the data can be read out smoothly. Then rewrite the data and verify that it is completely consistent.
At this point, the test of the small adapter board is completed. Since there is no machine on hand to test whether the chip can start normally, it is not tested.
It should be noted that I provide 4CE and 4R/B designs, which theoretically support large-capacity storage.
Presenting the modified version V1.1, this version is more beautiful and the circuit has been changed based on the previous version. No other changes, please test by yourself.
Again, no commercial use please.
