Overview

NXP offers the different products needed to build and connect concentrators, such as support for various communication protocols, including RS-485, 470MHz Sub-G wireless systems, Power Line Carrier (PLC wideband and narrowband carrier), Ethernet, 2G/ 3G/4G and State Grid VPN.
The power grid is a network that supplies power to users and consists of generators, transmission lines, transformers, substations and distribution lines. The concentrator is an important part of the national grid metering system. It collects electricity consumption information from meters and collectors.
