DER-437 - 150 W AIO Power Supply

Overview

This engineering report describes a 20 V, 7.5 A power supply for 90 VAC to 264 VAC AIO power supplies that can also be used as a general evaluation board for interfacing HiperPFS-3 power factor stages with LinkSwitch-HP output stages using the device. Combined with HiperPFS-3 and LinkSwitch-HP device families from Power Integration. The design is based on the PFS7526H IC for the PFC front-end and uses the LNK6779E in the isolated flyback output stage. Because LinkSwitch-HP devices consume less power, no standby phase is required to meet no-load and light-load power requirements.
