DER-173 - Non-isolated 14 W LED Driver

Overview

This engineering report describes a non-isolated 14 W output and high line input voltage range (195 VAC–265 VAC) power supply for LED lighting applications using the TNY279GN. The LED array and enclosure are designed to provide safe isolation for the end user. Therefore, the output of this design is not electrically isolated from the AC input. This document contains the power supply's complete specifications, detailed circuit diagrams, complete bill of materials required to build the power supply, transformer design, test data, and an oscilloscope of the power supply's most important electrical waveforms.
