DER-543 - 18.4 W non-dimmable, non-isolated boost LED driver

The engineering report describes a non-dimmable boost LED driver that drives 385 V LED strings at 48 mA over an input voltage range of 195 VAC to 265 VAC. This LED driver uses LYT5225D in the LYTSwitch-5 series of devices. LYTSwitch-5 is a non-dimmable LED driver IC with single-stage PFC functionality and precise LED current control. LYTswitch-5 integrates a high voltage power MOSFET and a discontinuous mode, variable frequency, variable on-time controller. The controller also offers fast (cycle-by-cycle) current limiting, input and output OVP, and advanced thermal management circuitry. The DER-543 provides a precise 48 mA output current and very low ripple (low % flicker) at 385 V LED output. The main design goals are high efficiency, accurate constant current regulation, low component count and low output ripple current.
