DER-429 - 18 to 25 W Isolated Flyback, Constant Current and Constant Voltage LED Driver

Overview

This document describes an isolated high power factor (PF), low THD LED driver designed to drive a 24 V, 1 A standard LED over an input voltage range of 195 VAC to 265 VAC (50 Hz typical). Call the LED string voltage. The LED driver uses LYT4325E in the LYTSwitch-4 series IC. The topology used is a single-stage isolated flyback, which can provide high power factor, constant current and constant voltage regulation, and low THD. This document contains LED driver specifications, schematics, PCB details, bill of materials, transformer documentation and typical performance characteristics.
