Arduino Pro Mini 328 based washing machine timer reference

Overview

A replacement part for my washing machine that had a broken wash timer. The original timer was a mechanical timer/direction switch that controlled the wash tub motor in the following way: Takes x minutes of wash time input from the user Spins the wash tub motor clockwise for a few seconds Stops the motor for a few seconds Spins the wash tub motor counterclockwise for a few seconds Stops the motor for a few seconds Continue with the last 4 steps until the wash timer expires I will be building an electronic timer that will do the same thing. Hardware Arduino Pro Mini: runs the code and controls everything 1306 OLED: displays user instructions and timer countdown Red/Black Buttons: sets the timer and starts the timer 5V Relay Module: provides AC power to the motor and controls direction 5V Adapter: powers the electronic timer
