IR2104-2

Overview
The IR2104 is a high-performance half-bridge driver chip commonly used to drive power semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs or IGBTs. The IR2104 provides high- and low-side drive signals to control the power MOSFETs or IGBTs in a half-bridge circuit. By controlling the on and off states of these power devices, precise control of high-power equipment such as motors and converters can be achieved. The IR2104 typically features overcurrent and overtemperature protection to protect power devices from overload or overheating damage. It supports PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control, allowing precise regulation of output voltage and current by adjusting the duty cycle of the PWM signal. The IR2104 usually has built-in isolation circuitry, providing isolation voltages up to several kilovolts to ensure safe isolation between control and power signals.
Application: This project uses it to drive a DC motor for a small vehicle.
