N32WB031_STB Development Board Review + First Look at N32WB031 [Copy link]

N32WB031_STB is a development board designed based on a low-power Bluetooth chip, which provides great convenience for everyone to understand its performance and develop devices with wireless communication functions.

The front and back of the development board are shown in Figures 1 and 2, so it can be seen that it uses a single-sided device layout.

The development board is powered by a TYPE C interface, and the power is turned on and off by a toggle switch. After power on, its status is shown in Figure 3. In addition to the reset button, the other three buttons can control the status of the LED lights, as shown in Figure 4.

Note: The green light is the power indicator and the blue light is the user test indicator.

In addition, after power-on, a virtual serial port will be created on the computer side, as shown in Figure 5.

When the serial port debugging tool is turned on, the output of the development board can be seen, as shown in Figure 6.

The N32WB031_STB development board supports development with MDK, and the version I use is V5.25.2.0.

By downloading and decompressing the toolkit, you can obtain the support upgrade package and related routines for the development board.

After installing the upgrade package, you can see N32WB031 in the chip list, as shown in Figure 7.

After the program is compiled, the corresponding target file can be generated, and the compilation result is shown in Figure 8.

The type of debugging tool onboard the development board is shown in FIG9 . When the development board is connected, the status of the debugging tool is shown in FIG10 .

The burning algorithm of the development board is shown in Figure 11, and its status after the program is downloaded is shown in Figure 12.

At this point, the construction of the development environment is completed and the download function test is implemented.

Taking the routine LedBlink as an example, the test results are shown in FIG. 13 to FIG. 15 , which are in a cyclic order of lighting up the right light, lighting up the left light, and then lighting up both lights.

The USB type-c socket shows that this board is still keeping up with the times
