Based on the analysis of the SR motor phase current, the motor rotor position is detected by detecting the change in the phase current gradient to realize
the SRD system without position sensor. To solve the problems of system startup and low-speed operation, software positioning and chopping control are introduced; to improve the torque at high-speed
operation , angle position control is added. The application of the SRD system without position sensor to material level detection simplifies the control circuit,
reduces the system cost, and enhances the reliability of the system.
