The direction of rotation of some single-phase AC motors changes depending on their wiring. The circuit shown in Figure 4-6 shows that when a PLC is used to control
the forward and reverse rotation of this type of motor, there must be a delay
between opening the forward control contact and closing the reverse control contact .     The H terminal of the IP series PLC can be connected to the live wire or the center wire, but the H terminals between the two groups are insulated from each other . The forward rotation, reverse rotation and stop of the motor are controlled by two input signals xo and Xl . Figure 4-6b shows the motor forward and reverse RLL program. Their logical relationship is shown in Table 4-1. If you use this method to control a three-phase asynchronous motor , you must pay great attention to the instantaneous connection of YO and Yl, otherwise the equipment will be easily damaged.
