Universal RC5/RC6 transceiver

Infrared Receiver: When the TSOP1736 (infrared receiver) receives an infrared (IR) signal from an RC5 or RC6 remote control (such as Philips), LED1 (green) illuminates. The LCD displays the received protocol (RC5, RC5X, or RC6) for one second upon receiving a new type of code. Afterward, the LCD displays the RC5 or RC6 system and command codes in decimal and binary.

The switching value is displayed by LED3 (yellow). If the received signal is poor or not an RC5, RC5X, or RC6 signal, LED2 (red) lights up. If you only want to know the button code, you can of course also check the RC5 table on this website (see here and here). Infrared Transmitter: Using the infrared transmitter, you can send all possible codes of the RC5, RC5X, and RC6 protocols, just like a remote control. With the help of the LCD, you can adjust the RC5, RC5X, or RC6 system and command code to be sent. At startup, first use "Adjust" (S2) to select the RC5 or RC6 protocol, and when the correct selection is made, use "Send" (S3) to confirm. To adjust the command value, press "Adjust". If this button is pressed for a longer period of time, the counter will change direction. If this button is pressed for an even longer period of time, the counter will start to repeat automatically and count faster and faster.
