The figure shows the application of two-terminal and three-terminal ceramic filters in the amplifier circuit of AM semiconductor radio . Ceramic filters B1 and B2 are used for 465kHz IF bypass, and B1 is used for IF coupling. B1 uses a narrow-band filter, which is connected in parallel to the emitter resistor of VT1 to help eliminate interference and noise. MA is a wide-band filter, which is beneficial to improving the sound quality of the radio.
