6-digit LED driver circuit

The configuration of National Semiconductor 's DS8877 driver circuit is shown in the figure. When used in conjunction with the 6-digit calculator digital current, the current range is 5 to 50mA. The driver does not require a backup power supply, and its operating voltage can be 4.5V, 6V, or 9V.
