Circuit Description: The input signal is amplified as it passes through the transistor. The distortion output is then clamped by two diodes and the high frequency noise is filtered by the circuit via a 500pF capacitor. Under normal circumstances, a 1M sliding rheostat adjusts the noise from maximum to none.
