Voltage-driven pulse width modulator TL494 1. Characteristics and functions of TL494 TL494 is a voltage-driven pulse width modulator produced by Texas Instruments in the United States. It can be used as a switching power supply circuit in system circuits such as monitors and computers. The output transistor of TL494 can be connected It has two modes: common emitter and emitter follower, so you can choose double-ended push-pull output or single-ended output mode. In push-pull output mode, its two drive pulses are 180 degrees apart, while in single-ended mode , its two driving pulses are of the same frequency and phase.
