As shown in the figure, a high -current and high-efficiency switching regulated power supply composed of LAS6351 is shown . LAS6351 is a high current adjustable pulse width switching integrated voltage regulator with relatively complete functions. It can output a voltage in the range of 2.5 to 50V while withstanding a continuous load current of 3 to 8A; the chip is equipped with a soft start, overload and overvoltage protection and overheating shutdown protection circuit; the efficiency is as high as 90%; since the switching frequency is as high as 200kHz, the removes the cost of the external output LC filter. It can be used to directly assemble 15W, 25W, 40W adjustable or fixed switching regulated power supplies. The circuit shown in the picture is a +5V, 5A switching regulated power supply.
