As shown in the figure, the basic connection circuit of the HA-5320 in the same phase unit gain mode has a very high throughput rate. HA-5320 is used as a fast data acquisition A/D conversion input stage. The input signal VIN is added to the 2nd pin of HA-5320, and after sampling and holding amplification, it is sent to HI574A for analog-to-digital conversion, and then converted into a 12-bit accurate digital signal for output. The S/H signal controls the internal switch to be turned on or off, that is, the sampling or holding state. If the holding time needs to be extended, a holding capacitor CEXT can be added externally. It is recommended to connect a capacitor between the 8th pin and the ground to reduce noise, and the capacitance is 0.1CEXT. The 10kΩ potentiometer is the "offset voltage" adjustment potentiometer. Adjusting the potentiometer can adjust the holding stage error to zero. The HA-5320 output has no short-circuit protection circuit, so it maintains a low output impedance in the high-frequency state. Its advantage is that during the A/D conversion, each step change causes a change in the load current, and the low output resistance makes the HA-5320 have the minimum output voltage error. The HA-5320 output allows a momentary short circuit to ground, but does not allow a continuous short circuit to ground.
