The diagram shown is a photoelectric drive circuit . The load in the picture is a strong circuit (2 A) high voltage (AC 220 V) device.
It can be controlled by photoelectric conversion, which is safer and more reliable. The bidirectional thyristor is located in the AC high-voltage power supply circuit. As long as the tube is turned on,
the 220V AC high voltage will be added to the load. The control signal drives the light-emitting diode in the optocoupler through IC1, and
controls IC2 through the phototransistor in the optocoupler .
The output of IC2 controls the trigger voltage of the thyristor, thereby controlling the load.
