There are two commonly used decorative light strips. One uses traditional bulbs as the luminous material. The other uses more advanced three-color LED light-emitting diodes as the luminous material. The latter not only has significant energy-saving effects, but also has the characteristics of durability and less maintenance. Nowadays, decorative light strips generally use the latter. The author recently analyzed a well-used seven-color flash LED light strip control circuit, see Figure 1.
The circuit in the figure uses a dedicated colorful LED flash control chip HL081LF. HL081 is a synchronous colorful flash integrated circuit manufactured using CMOS technology. With the red, green and blue three-primary color high-brightness light-emitting diode, it can show a colorful color-changing light effect. It is widely used in toys and other occasions. Such as lawn lights, square lights, guardrail lights and other urban lighting decoration occasions. The characteristics of the HL081 chip: working voltage 3-5.5V, working current less than 300uA, with a mode setting terminal. There are four change modes. The specific modes are shown in the following table. It is suitable for AC power supply. By powering on at the same time, the synchronous flash function is realized. The pin arrangement of HL081 is: ① pin zc, 50/60Hz input, ② pin VDD, power supply positive, ③ pin BL, blue light output terminal, ④ pin GL, green light output terminal, ⑤ pin RL, red light output terminal, ⑥ pin GND, power ground, ⑦ pin s1, mode setting terminal, ⑧ pin SO, mode setting terminal. Hcl06D is a 4A, 400V high-sensitivity DC thyristor. The output of the HL081 chip controls the thyristor to control the three-color light-emitting diode to emit light in a certain light-emitting pattern.
Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of a flash light strip. The light strip controller uses 220V AC power. It has four connecting wires with the light strip, which correspond to ABCD and A'B'C'D. The light strip is in meters. The controller shown in Figure 1 is marked with 50 meters. This means that one controller can drive a 50-meter flash light strip. The light strip cannot be cut at will. Generally, there is a scissors mark on the side of the position where it can be cut. If you want to cut it, you can only cut it at this place, otherwise the front or back section of the light strip will always fail to light up normally. Each meter of light strip integrates several flash light strip units shown in Figure 2. Each unit is connected in parallel, and generally the number of light-emitting tubes of each color and the current-limiting resistor in each unit are not the same. According to the appearance, one light color in the same light strip is four diodes in series, while another light color is 8 diodes in series. As shown in Figure 1, since the setting of the light-emitting mode has been fixed, the three-color light-emitting tubes overlap and shine, which is very beautiful. '
