Description
The FAN7387V, developed using Fairchild’s unique high-
voltage process and system-in-package (SiP) concept, is
a ballast-control integrated circuit (IC) for a compact
fluorescent lamp (CFL). The FAN7387V has a simple
oscillating circuit using an external resistor and capacitor
so the frequency variation is stable across the
temperature range. FAN7387V has a external pin for
dead time control and shutdown. By using this resistor, a
designer can choose the optimum dead time to reduce
the power loss on internal switching devices (MOSFETs).
