in hand. All Scotchlok tools are engineered to provide high
mechanical advantage resulting in less operator fatigue.
Each tool is designed to meet specific craftsperson needs.
The E-9C tool . . . fast, efficient butt splicing
With its automatic cartridge feed (7-to-1 mechanical
advantage and ratchet action), the E-9C tool allows the
craftsperson to complete a crimp with one hand, freeing the
other hand for wire handling. One squeeze of the handle
crimps the connector and ejects it, automatically advancing
another connector into the crimping position. The ten-,
twelve- or sixteen-connector cartridge is easily inserted into
the E-9C tool. Designed for use with every butt type
Scotchlok connector, the E-9C tool brings fast, efficient
splicing to aerial, pedestal, underground, and direct buried
applications.
The E-9BM tool . . . for universal
connector crimping
This heavy-duty tool is capable of crimping all Scotchlok
connectors. With its parallel closing action and adjustable
jaws, the E-9BM crimping tool features a 10-to-1
mechanical advantage which allows it to handle all
wire gauges.
The E-9E . . . a lightweight tool heavy
on performance
Acompletely parallel closing action and a 4-to-1
mechanical advantage make the E-9E crimping tool one of
the most versatile additions to a craftsperson’s pouch. With
these features, the E-9E tool will crimp all Scotchlok butt
and tap connectors, and also handle all wire gauges.
The E-9Y . . . for two conductor splicing
The E-9YTool has stepped jaws and a long nose which
provide parallel crimping action. Use this tool for two
conductor splicing on conductors less than 19 gauge.
