DESCRIPTION
Minitek
TM
Horizontal SMT Headers en-
able perpendicular printed circuit board
connections on a 2 mm grid using
surface mount technology. In a typical
application the horizontal SMT header
is soldered at the edge of the PCB and
mates with any of various different types
of receptacles.
Using the part number selector, it is
possible to specify the pin length
required, the number of rows (single or
double), the number of circuits and the
plating.
The Minitek
TM
SMT horizontal header
is part of the MinitekTM range, FCI’s
2mm modular connector system which
includes a wide variety of header,
receptacles, cables connectors and wire
connectors.
The components in the Minitek
TM
sys-
tem including the SMT horizontal
headers are fully intermateable.
