The MCX N series Industrial and Internet of Things (IIoT) MCUs are equipped with NXP’s eIQ® Neutron Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for machine learning (ML) acceleration and the EdgeLock® secure enclave Core Profile, and are designed to meet industry standards.

The MCX N94x and MCX N54x are based on dual high - performance Arm® Cortex® cores running at up to 150 MHz , 2MB of flash memory (with optional full ECC RAM), a DSP coprocessor, and an integrated eIQ Neutron NPU. The NPU delivers up to 42x higher machine learning (ML) throughput compared to a standalone CPU core, reducing wake-up time and overall power consumption.
