Product 1 : Hammond MFG 1552 Series ABS Plastic Housing

Beyond core performance and functionality, the design of the product housing is also crucial in electronic product development. It must not only be aesthetically pleasing but, more importantly, meet user requirements for usability and functionality. Hammond MFG 's 1552 series handheld ABS plastic housing is an excellent example of a product that achieves both aesthetics and functionality. It not only offers an elegant, modern look and comfortable feel, but also offers a wide range of functional enhancements through a range of accessories.

The 1552 housing is comfortable to hold and designed for extended use, minimizing operator fatigue in applications such as machinery or electric hoist control. Both housing end plates are removable for easy machining and interchangeable with integrated TPU cable clamp end plates. Built-in cable clamps securely hold internally routed cables in place, protecting them from damage.

Other built-in features include an internal printed circuit board holder, a top notch for seamless keyboard membrane installation, and a glossy finish that resists light scratches or fingerprints. Available in black or gray, the enclosure features an overlapped construction and meets IP54 ingress protection requirements.
