With the NXP SD Card Reader (DEMOFLEXISJMSD) reference design, you can read and write files stored on an SD card from a PC or other system that supports USB host devices via the included full-speed USB module. The SD card interface is based on the SPI protocol. Mass storage devices can be used to enable advanced communication between host device applications and data storage.
This design can be used as a backup Flexis ® JM series development board, you can exchange the MC9S08JM60 for the MCF51JM128 (pin-compatible). The design contains two user LEDs and a button, and provides an expansion header to allow users to access other MCU peripherals such as SPI and RGPIO.
