ISELED is a new technology for the next generation of smart LED lighting systems, primarily used in automotive applications (mainly for car interior lighting), but also in industry.
ISELED solves the calibration and communication problems in today's LED lighting systems by moving the costly external processing that ensures stable light parameters (brightness and color stability) to the embedded processing of the RGB LED itself. The 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M based S32K1 microcontroller family supports the ISELED protocol through an ISELED software driver available in the SDK and AUTOSAR MCAL.
