Overview

The STEVAL-IPFC02V1 2 kW interleaved PFC reference design combines the performance of analog cycle-by-cycle current regulation with the flexibility of digital control to generate sinusoidal power supplies with very high power factor and very low harmonic distortion.

The digital power control is based on the STNRGPF0 digital PFC controller, which operates in CCM at a fixed frequency with average current mode control and can drive two interleaved PFC channels with mixed (analog and digital) signals.
This 2 kW interleaved PFC reference design includes a power board with dual-channel interleaved CCM boost power stage, auxiliary power supply, a control board with embedded STNRGPF02 digital controller, and a small adapter board for programming the STNRGPF02 .
You can use the eDesignSuite software tool (available on the STMicroelectronics website) to configure the STNRGPF02 according to your design requirements for each interleaved PFC.
