The LPCXpresso55S28 development board provides an ideal platform for evaluation and development of LPC552x/S2x MCUs based on the Arm® Cortex® - M33 architecture. The board includes a high-performance on-board debugger, audio subsystem, and acceleration sensor, with multiple options to add off-the-shelf add-on boards for network, sensor, display, and other interfaces.
The LPCXpresso55S28 is fully supported by the MCUXpresso tool suite, which provides device drivers, middleware and examples for rapid development, as well as configuration tools and an optional free IDE. MCUXpresso software is compatible with the open source MCU operating system FreeRTOS tools from mainstream tool vendors such as Arm and IAR, and the LPCXpresso55S28 can also be used with mainstream hardware debuggers provided by SEGGER and P&E Micro.
