300w non-isolated bidirectional DC/DC converter

 
Overview

This design implements a non-isolated bidirectional buck-boost power converter, suitable for solar micro-converters, digital power supplies, and battery charge and discharge applications. The biggest highlight is that it can realize two-way power flow, that is, power can flow from the input end to the output end, and it can also flow from the output end to the input end. This function is very useful in battery applications, because the charging and discharging functions are implemented on a power circuit. This is also the future development direction and is widely used in new energy.

  • Input voltage: 10~80V, output voltage: 5~80V
  • Current: 8A
  • Power: 300w
  • High efficiency design, supporting maximum efficiency of more than 95%
  • The fast 250 KHz switching frequency enables smaller passive components, reducing board area and extending life.
  • Three control modes to meet various applications: 1) Output voltage control 2) MPPT control (input current control) 3) Reverse current control.
  • The C2000™ Piccolo™ TMS320F28069 microcontroller controls the converter.
