Speed measurement is a problem often encountered in industrial and agricultural production. It is of great significance to learn to use single-chip microcomputer technology to design speed measurement instruments. To measure speed, we must first solve the problem of sampling. When using analog technology to make a tachometer, the tachometer generator method is commonly used, that is, the rotating shaft of the tachometer generator is connected to the shaft to be measured. The voltage of the tachometer generator reflects the speed of the speed. When using a microcontroller to measure speed, a simple pulse counting method can be used. As long as one or multiple fixed pulses are generated every time the rotating shaft rotates, and the pulses are sent to the microcontroller for counting, the speed information can be obtained.
Taking a common toy motor as the speed measurement object, use CS3020 to design a signal acquisition circuit, and realize the output of counting pulses through a voltage comparator. The speed can be measured in the microcontroller experimental box, or the output can be directly connected to a frequency meter or pulse counter, and we get The number of pulses per unit time can be converted to get the motor speed. This requires less hardware and no programming, but it is only a verification of the Hall sensor speed measurement application.
