JRC official introduction to this chip: (Translation)
NJM2706 is a 3D surround sound audio processor with dynamic bass boost function, which can reproduce a shocking stereo sound field with only 2 small speakers. It uses surround sound technology independently developed by NJRC to achieve an immersive and natural feeling that emphasizes central positioning. It also uses dynamic bass boost technology independently developed by NJRC to provide beautiful bass while maintaining low distortion. It also has built-in high-frequency correction when boosting from low frequencies. NJM2706 is suitable for mini combos, CD/radio/cassette player combos, TVs, speaker systems, etc.
After actual proofing and connecting to the audio test, the low-frequency processing is indeed quite good. The mellow low-frequency is not overwhelming. The 3D surround processing is not the kind of uncomfortable processing produced by mobile phone software. This chip's 3D surround processing is more about giving the sound field and listening experience a sense of space and three-dimensionality. I personally feel that it is a very good chip.
The cost of making this module is about RMB 16-20. Compared with a bunch of more expensive modules on Taobao, making it yourself is more cost-effective. Thanks to JLC for the 0 yuan board, purple yyds!
Since the board is not drawn according to the way normal people draw boards, there is no BOM. All the required resistance and capacitance parameters can be noted in ((document layer)) . If you can't see it, you can close the top-level display first. See normally. The two potentiometers use patch 3x3 potentiometers with a resistance of 20K. They can also be connected by flying wires to external ones of different specifications.
The demo video is limited by the recording equipment, so the effect is not obvious, and the actual listening experience is very different.
