A DCDC boost module based on CH224 PD deception and XL6009 can decoy 20V voltage from PD and boost it to 24V through XL6009 (the specific voltage can be achieved by adjusting the FB resistor, please refer to the chip's datasheet)
As for why the voltage needs to be boosted... Let’s take a guess (laughs). In theory, there is no problem running 20V 5A at full PD, provided that a Type-C to Type-C data cable that supports emark is used.
And a switch is added to the board, which can freely switch whether to output directly through PD deception or output after boosting. If there is no need to switch, then you can leave it alone.
