The back of the clock is as shown in the picture:
Considering the price, performance and pins of the microcontroller, this design finally selected the STC8H1K16 microcontroller as the core. The digital tube is available on some websites.
1. The power supply interface adopts a 16P TYPE-C interface, which can be used with CH340N to directly download programs, or set alarm clocks through the serial port, etc.
2. Two independent buttons in the upper left corner can modify parameters such as time and so on.
3. The driver part adopts transistor driver, eliminating the need for digital tube driver chip, and the driving speed is also faster.
4. The clock timing backup power supply uses a 0.47F farad capacitor, which can theoretically maintain timing for 20 consecutive days without power.
5. There is an infrared receiving tube on the board, which can receive infrared codes and the function can be exerted by itself.
6. There is a 5528 photoresistor on board, which can realize automatic dimming function.
7. There is a thermistor on the board that can measure the ambient temperature.
8. Use a passive buzzer that can make different sounds and set different ringtones
9. A small RGB light is reserved, which can emit different colors.
The schematic diagram of the circuit is shown in the figure. If you need to change the maximum brightness of the digital tube, RGB or infrared emission tube, you can appropriately reduce the size of the corresponding current limiting resistor.
Finally, attach the PCB diagram and 3D renderings
